lump under my left armpit, should i see the doc?

im a 14 year old girl and last night when i put some deodrant on my left armpit felt like there was a bruise there so i felt it and noticed a lump a bit smaller than a golf ball. I dont have a cold or anything and its is painless unless i touch it, then it hurts a bit. If i go to the GPs will they give me a breast examination? I really dont want one and i know that sounds silly because i might have cancer possibly :/ also 2 people in my family (my auntie and uncle) have died of cancer, could it be anything genetic? (it wasnt breast cancer though) or am i just worrying too much

Yes you should see your doctor. There are two possible problems. The first is an infected lymph node. I’ve had one of these before. They are irritating, but not dangerous. They are treated with antibiotics. The second possibility is cancer, most likely lymphoma because of your age. There are of course a number of other possible problems but those two are most likely. You really really should see a doctor. I know how it can feel, not wanting to see the doctor because you’re scared of what tests might be done, or you’re scared that there may be something seriously wrong. But trust me when I say that it’s better to know and get help than to try to remain blissfully ignorant. See your doctor, and good luck.
